How does it work?
- MyJobHistory.com will independently verify your job history, educational achievements and professional credentials through a nationally recognized professional Credentials Verification Organization. You can review any factual verification before it is made available to an employer.
- Job history verification includes job title, start date, end date, salary (if available). MJH does not at this time obtain qualitative reference information (e.g. "describe the candidate's strength") because there are too many variables to make that information meaningful. However, just having factual verifications gives applicants a tremendous advantage in the job market.
- You decide who can review your verified job history, education and credentials. Just give a potential employer your JobSeekers ID and Access Code, and the employer can instantly review your Verification Report online. You can even put your Access Code on a Resume with an online job board if you want all potential employers to have access.
- Put a MyJobHistory.com Seal of Verification, which contains your JobSeeker ID and Access Code, on your Resume. Or, include a MyJobHistory.com Certificate of Verification, which also contains your JobSeeker ID and Access Code, with your printed resume or as an attachment to an email. The Seal and Certificate of Verification is available only after you have ordered a verification and MyJobHistory.com has completed your order. (See Samples)
- Use MyJobHistory.com as your lifetime job history site. Let us verify your job whenever there is a change. You are only charge once per verification MyJobHistory.com performs and you can use it your entire working life.
- Independent contractors and free agents can also use MyJobHistory.com to verify their assignments.
- Using the MJH Advanced Tools, you have multiple options as a site user. Design Verification Reports targeted at specific employers and maintain a general-purpose Report for your job search. You may have up to six different on-line Reports and Access Code numbers at MyJobHistory.com.
- You can be notified by e-mail when one of your Verification Reports is reviewed, so you will know how your job search is going. If you request notification of who is looking at your Report, we can require interested employers to complete a "Quick Registration" so we can tell you exactly who has looked at your Report.
- When you have found employment and no longer need an active on-line Verification Report, you can de-activate your Access Code number so that you no longer are in our searchable database. You may reactivate your number at any time at no additional cost.

- Enter the JobSeeker's I.D. and Access Code number in the "View Report" boxes. View the job seeker's on-line Verification Report containing the independent factual verifications from MyJobHistory.com. Know that you are looking at qualified candidates who were willing to submit their work history and educational credentials to an independent verification process.

- Employer registration is required only if the job seeker has requested notification of who is viewing his/her Report. We have available a "Quick Registration" process, which will take you about 15 seconds to complete. There is no cost and your privacy is ensured.
- Look for the MJH Seal of Verification on a resume or MJH Certificate before you hire.
- To save time and money, direct new applicants to MJH before they apply so you know you are only getting applicants with the best qualifications.

THE SITE IS FREE TO EMPLOYERS. There is no charge to employers to view Verification Reports.
Price to job seekers
- The price for a job applicant is $24.00 per past job, educational degree or credential.

- The fee includes charges by some schools or services.
The exception is our criminal record search that will be offered shortly.
MJH will publish a court fee schedule.
International Verifications
MJH can verify the following types of credentials:
- Employment references from companies in the United States, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia and English-speaking areas of Canada
- Education, including degrees and diplomas from universities and colleges in the United States, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia and, English-speaking areas of Canada
- Professional licenses recognized in the United States only issued by US based organizations
- Certifications from courses completed or exams taken in the United States only (check with MJH to avoid delays)
MJH is unable to verify all credentials. To avoid unnecessary charges, do not submit the following types of credentials for verification, or contact MJH first. Please e-mail support@myjobhistory.com.
The following Certificates CANNOT be Verified:
- Professional Licenses from non-US organizations
- Any kind of "Certificate of Good Work" or anything which is similarly subjective
- Comptia (such as A+)
- A+® - entry-level personal computer technology
- Certified Document Imaging Architech™ (CDIA) - Mastery-level document imaging technology
- 1-Net+™ - base-level Internet technologies
- Network+™ - networking technologies
- 1-Net+™ - base-level Internet technologies
- Server+™ - PC hardware issues
- Linux+™ - vendor-neutral Linux knowledge
- IT Project+™
- e-Bix+™
